My past is always talking the same old shizzle and every once in a great while, depending on where I have led my head, I give the past a little wiggle room to give its message.
Creeping thoughts of former substance abuse come about rarely and thankfully I have acquired the right tools and filters to deal with them. My past is my past for a reason.
Exactly. I sometimes think back and remember the past in a better light that it actually had when it was the present… But, as you say, the past is the past for a reason. Obviously, it wasn’t serving us well.
