I am not trying to change the world. I am just offering my gift that God gave me, and if somebody is moved by it, that’s beautiful. ~Lenny Kravitz
Sharing your talent
We’ve come a long way since we first started trying to figure out who we are and what we want in life.
Doug and I are at the point where we know what we want to do and what our gifts and talents are, but we have to figure out how to make it all work for us.
If you’ve been following along with the exercises, you should be at this point too.
So, how do we start living the life we’ve dreamed of?
Someone will pay me for this?
Doug and I believe that passion is what’s important when it comes to making a living doing what you love. People make money raising crickets on a farm (yes, really), so how hard can it be to build a career doing what you love in a somewhat more conventional way?
We have the passion, and we know what we want. Now what?
Knowing what we offer
Over the next few posts, Doug and I are going to be thinking about our gifts and talents as marketable products, and figuring out how to package up our monkeyness into something useful to others… Something that provides value.
We’ll be learning as we go, and sharing what we discover. Follow along as we take all of the thoughts and theories we’ve written about and attempt to craft the life we desire, in reality.
Will we do it? Tune in next time monkey friends… And bring your ambition with you.
